My driving lessons are priced in a competitive way, but I still have to make a living, (driving school cars are expensive to run and need to be replaced on a regular basis).
You may find other Driving schools who will be cheaper, but remember you get what you pay for and I pride myself in giving good service at an affordable price. I provide a door to door service and can arrange pick up from home, work, school or college. Beware of Greek gods bearing gifts, like first time pass or a refund, they will probably keep you longer to ensure that you have practically no chance of failing your test and if the lesson price is cheap there is also the same risk that you may end up paying more in the long run, so its up to you. After all its your money.
My basic rate is £22 per hour, this is priced on the basis of taking seperate one hour lessons.
If the customer is prepared to take lessons in larger chunks then I can reduce the rate to a less expensive level.
If you take a one and a half hour lesson I can do it for £32 and if you take a two hour lesson I can do it for £41.
If you block book and pay for 10 lessons in one go this will attract a further discount of £10 per block.
If block booking you will need to specify the duration of the lessons, in order that the invoice can be calculated correctly.
If you are interested in semi intensive courses, you will need to obtain a theory certificate before you can book a practical driving test, I can then give you a one off price quotation for the lessons, dependant on the duration of each lesson. Remember that intensive or semi intensive courses are inclined to generate a more stressful environment and extra pressure to get the job done, so they are not suitable for just any person.
You are probably wondering why I can discount the price on the longer lessons.
Well its quite simple really, it takes time and fuel when travelling to pick up pupils and then going from pupil to pupil or from pupil to home, so the less time I spend doing unpaid running around the more cost effective my business becomes.
If you are interested in the council sponsored Pass Plus courses you must do a minimum of 6 hrs training and they are currently priced at £75,(this is paid to the council and if a place is available the council pays the instructor on completion of the course, if a place is not available your monies are refunded), the price of these courses is fixed and the instructors have no control over this, (there is a limit to the number of places).
If you want to you can text your name, number and subject, to my mobile and I will call you to discuss bookings and/or prices.
Please remember when selecting an instructor that all instructors who give lessons for money or moneys worth are required to be DSA approved and if you see extra letters after a name make sure that they are qualifications and not memberships of the driving school organisations like DIA OR MSA.
