I have been in the driver training business for eight years and am a fully qualified DSA approved driving instructor (car).
Before I decided to set up on my own I was franchised to a national driving school.
I have held a full car drivers licence since 1967, I also hold full motorcycle entitlement as well as a full LGV (C+E) licence, (to the uninitiated this means that I can drive large goods vehicles up to and including heavy articulated vehicles).
Before I decided to become a driving instructor I worked mainly as as an LGV driver and have held that licence since 1972, so most of my working life has been connected with driving in one way or another.
I am a paid up member of the Driving Instructors Association (DIA) , which is a national association and also belong to Wessex Association of Driving Schools, the latter is a Trowbridge based organisation which meets on a monthly basis to discuss various topics concerned with the industry and to keep up to speed with current issues .
I am currently using a Renault Clio 1.5 dci expression as my tuition car, it is quite a popular school car, the car is a diesel car and is equipped with air conditioning.
